tenisIndonesia.com, Bogor, Indonesia – December 1, 2023 – Happy Hearts Indonesia (HHI), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education for underprivileged children in Indonesia, is thrilled to announce the official opening ceremony of PAUD Miftahul Huda, an early childhood education school in Bogor, West Java. The school’s reconstruction is a testament to the collective generosity of participants and sponsors, including PT Lautan Luas Tbk, ANSAC, PUREVE, Sportama Tennis, Salonpas Lets Move, Lexus Pluit, Wastec International Tecnifibre Indonesia, FiberCreme, Pocari Sweat Indonesia, ACS Jakarta, Pelti DKI, Infinite Tournament, and Ace Tennis Indo, who wholeheartedly embraced the Happy Hearts Indonesia Charity Tennis Tournament held in March 2023.
The opening ceremony, held on November 30, 2023, marked a significant milestone for HHI and the community of Cimandala Village, where PAUD Miftahul Huda is located. The school, which previously lacked a proper building and essential resources, now stands as a vibrant and welcoming learning environment for children in the community.
“We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors and participants of the Happy Hearts Indonesia Charity Tennis Tournament for their unwavering support,” stated Sylvia Beiwinkler, CEO of Happy Hearts Indonesia. “Their generosity has made it possible for us to provide these children with a safe, nurturing, and inspiring place to learn and grow.”
Soewandhi Soekamto, Commercial Director of PT Lautan Luas Tbk, one of the event’s sponsors, expressed his pride in supporting the cause. “As a company that values social responsibility, we are honored to have been a part of this meaningful initiative,” he said. “Investing in education is crucial for the future of our nation, and we are committed to supporting organizations like Happy Hearts Indonesia that make a real difference in the lives of underprivileged children.”
The Happy Hearts Indonesia Charity Tennis Tournament, held from March 18-19, 2023, at the ACS Jakarta School Tennis Court, attracted amateur tennis players from across Indonesia, all united by their passion for the sport and their desire to contribute to a worthy cause. The event featured beginner and intermediate doubles competitions, a Coaching Clinic for children with Aldila Sutjiadi, a prominent Indonesian professional tennis player, and an insightful talk show on the role of parents in supporting their children’s athletic pursuits.
The highlight of the event was the auction of Aldila Sutjiadi’s racket, used during the PON Papua and Sea Games Manila, which generated significant funds for the school’s reconstruction.
The success of the Happy Hearts Indonesia Charity Tennis Tournament and the subsequent opening of PAUD Miftahul Huda demonstrate the power of collective action and the transformative impact of education. HHI is committed to continuing its efforts to provide quality education and support to underprivileged children in Indonesia, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
